Picture of Ulsoor lake, the beautiful lake is still a long way from becoming a clean lake. The colour of the water in the lake as seen in the picture is a deadly green. In comparison to Sankey Tank, the Ulsoor lake stands meek. The silver lining is that there is some work done around the lake to beautify the surroundings and constant cleaning done to bring the lake up to good standards.

Bear Attack
I managed to take this picture when a huge Black Bear attacked the safari bus and tried to put his claws through the mesh on the window of the safari bus.
I guess he was too excited to see people and hoped someone would throw some sweets or fruits at him. He calmly walked away after a minute, but it was a heart stopping minute but exciting encounter for us sitting inside the safari bus. I was just lucky the bear chose the window I was sitting by to attack.

Vidhana Soudha Photographer
Ravi a photographer near Vidhana Soudha who has been photographing visitors for the last 20 years readily agreed to pose like his customers for me. Vidhana Soudha earlier thronged with visitors and photographers now bears a barren look due to the recent Metro construction.
The Metro construction has forced many to give up their profession of photography to venture into other avenues to earn their daily bread. Ravi one of the few still lingers around in hope of a brighter day.
The price payed for development.

Excited Kick
The excited kick is a photo I managed to capture at the Panambur beach. A girl holding hands with her brothers rushed to the beach as she neared the waves she stood for a second not knowing what to do, in excitement of seeing the waves lapping at her feet she kicked at one splashing the water all over. The evening of joy for her had begun with an Excited Kick.
My Little Brother
The colourful dresses of the new bride and groom that arrived at the temple caught her eyes. Picking up her younger brother holding him tight over her back she ran towards the temple gate.
As she ran past me I smiled at her and lifted my camera, she stopped for a second and smiled for the picture, and continued her run to watch the people entering the temple.
I called after her hoping to talk to her but in vain was my shouts that couldn't force her to turn back to me.
I stood there watching her, she made her way past the people to take a look at the bride, the beautifully dressed bride and the handsome groom walked past her, she smiled but their eyes would not look down upon her. She stood there watching all the guests walk past her, I couldn't help but wonder what fascinated her in a normal wedding gathering that a girl of her age had witnessed on several occasions.
As I watched her closely it hit me, I smiled as I watched her one hand hold her brother tight and the other explain the gathering to him. I smiled as I watched her introduce the world to her little brother.

Circle of Trust
Trying my hand with Light Trails, I call this picture The Circle of Trust. The process of creating this picture was quite simple. In a dark room I placed the camera on a tripod and set a longer shutter speed and then holding a candle I ran around my brother asking him to stand still and not to move at all since my speed was fast the camera didn't capture me but you can see a line of my hand below the ring of fire. The whole scene was illuminated with the light of the candle.
